FS: MKIV Full FIS Euro Sport Clusters
ColorMFA
A while ago I bought 5 ColorMFA boards ( http://colormfa.ru/en/ ). Thus far I've installed them in 2 personal clusters and 1 for a customer.
I have 2 remaining. They are not for sale all by themselves but if anyone is interested in buying a MKIV Jetta/Golf cluster with a ColorMFA installed then I can build one for you. The price is $475 USD including shipping to the lower 48. Why so expensive? The boards cost about $200, you have to pay in advance and wait 3-6 months to receive one. Then you need an existing MKIV cluster to install it in and the assembly is difficult (I would estimate that it takes me about 15 hours to build/test one), shipping/insurance ends up being another $25 on top of that and I'm on the hook for answering your pre and post purchase questions.
If you're comfortable with soldering very small components, aren't in too much of a hurry, are willing to risk breaking your cluster (or have a spare) and don't mind getting support through the ColorMFA message boards (they're actually pretty responsive) then you can order a board here: http://colormfa.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=386&language=en (click the "+ in English" button).
If you're wondering what's involved in building one, the assembly instructions are here: http://www.colormfa.ru/download/MK4_B5_ColorMFA_Install_Guide.pdf
On the other hand, if you want one sooner and/or don't have the soldering expertise, I can build one for you. It takes me about 2 weeks and I would need a $200 deposit up front to start. The balance would be due when I'm ready to ship it to you. Here are some photos I took while building the most recent one: https://photos.app.goo.gl/UDyJRVHcvthBc4KR9
You can choose standard (1J0) or sport (1J5) faces and needles and can choose from the various cluster EEPROM options (lit needles, linear temperature gauge, needle sweep, etc.). I don't offer more extreme customizations such as changing the backlight color, reversing the odometer/clock LCDs or non-MKIV faces/needles. If you want something like that, you can try "Clusters by Litke" (who I have no affiliation with):

Feel free to PM or email me any questions. Also, check out the ColorMFA web site (be sure to click the British flag at the top so you get the English version) and the operating manual: http://colormfa.ru/download/colormfa_b31_en.pdf
Other Clusters
For the current list of clusters available: http://www.bitfab.com/tdi
If you buy one of my clusters and can travel to the Boston area, I can do all the non-wiring work for free. That would include replacing your existing cluster, setting the correct mileage and coding. However, if your car is not already wired for a FIS/MFA cluster, you'll need to do the wiring yourself or find someone to do it for you. Installing a FIS/MFA stalk requires removing your steering wheel and airbag and I'm not willing to accept the liability of messing with your airbag.
If your car is not already set up for an MFA/FIS cluster you will need to source and install the wiring, temperature sensor and wiper stalk.
Installation instructions are here: https://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=48366
You can even make this work in a 99.5 but it will require adding an immobilizer coil and transponder chip plus a couple of resistors and some wire. If you have a 99.5 and buy a cluster from me, I can program the transponder chip and include it for an extra $25 along with wiring instructions. You would need to source the immobilizer coil yourself.
Thanks for looking,
Greg
