Not sure how 255x10 is possible, DBW's right--all MKIV Golf/Jetta/NB TDIs came with the 232x9mm rear solid rotors. However he's incorrect in saying it fits the A5. The A5 came with 260x12mm rear rotors on the TDI.

You are incorrect on the Rotors, I am sitting here reading straight of ETKA for the A5 Platform and the Golf (GOB) and Jetta (JEM) both list the rear rotors as "239x9, PN# b 1J0 615 601 C, brake disc"
Front rotors on the A5 are listed as "280x22, PN# b 1j0 615 301 P, brake disc (ventilated)"
There is an option listed under the JEM 2004 (A4) for a 256x22 ventilated disk, PN# 8N0 615 601 B and a Model identification of "PR-1KY"
The two rotors use a common caliper but different pads The thicker are the "PR-1KX" (non-ventilated 239mm) and the thinner for the ventilated (256mm) disc are listed under the "PR-1KY"
If you have the larger disc then you obviously have a quasi brake upgrade with vented rear discs.
The bad news is that it appears the larger brakes may use a different axle beam which permits the mounting and different caliper distance, one is listed as 18mm and the other 21.7mm.
