My Fabia has been away on a long term holiday getting "as and when" upgrades done. The 1.9 (ASZ) bottom end was getting tired so decided its time for a 2.0 upgrade.

This has been done to a spare block, using my rosten rods, and nural 2.0 pistons for the BHW engine. Crank has had something done I think (I am not very technical) and I am using my head build as was which is ported, big valves, NPS 10.5 cam, 130 DSSR injectors, and possibly other bits)

A general refresh was done too so lots of wiring tidied up / made safe - I've got a proper wizards of NOS controller now for the laughing gas. Also renewed many oem parts for assurance - alternator, starter, tandem pump, engine mounts, and some other bits.

Engine only has a few hundred miles on it, but tonight its been mapped to 348bhp without NOS and 403 with nitrous. Nice to have a 4 hundred and something dyno run.

I can't wait to get it back - I collect it on Saturday. Shout out to Dervtech who did all the work and have had their problems with the build along the way. Also to Darkside for ultimately providing the turbo behind the build along with the manifold, downpipe, clutch, intercooler, hardpipe kit, and probably something else I've forgotten about.

I don't think I'll be challenging the Arosa down the pod :p My aim is just to hit 12s in fairly daily driver mode.

Not sure when next trackday is. Going to Nurburgring next week - Get that out the way first, and a few more miles on the engine.
