2013 tdi oil

I have 2013 tdi wondering what peoole use for oil I use havw 06 tdi I used rotella t6 wasnt sure if that what I should use in 13 tdi?

Any brand of oil that meets the VW 507 spec will be fine.. If I'm not mistaken Rotella t6 doesn't meet VW 507 spec


I prefer Pentosin Super Performance III 5w30

The big thing on VW507 is emissions / MPG related.



That said - I try to use VW 507 in my CR TDI as well.

total quartz 5w30 - approved oil and can get 3 pack delivered from amazon for $97 for 3 pack (free ship with prime). Its what i have used for the past few years (i'm at 190k now).

I once was able to find Castrol at a local parts store. They did not even know they had it! Most places don't stock 507 VW spec oil. Just not enough TDIs out there. Dealer is also an option.
Best deals are online (IDParts, fcp euro, Amazon, etc...)
