Did you just replace your MAF or clean you intake? I got one of those when playing the night I got mine a new MAF. I reset it with the Vagcom and it never came back

You need to test your N75... could also be a leaking vacuum line or a stuck turbo actuator...

How many miles on the car??

Do you have access to a Vag-Com ???

Where are you located? Perhaps there's a TDI specialist not too far away...

P1556

121,000 miles, just replaced Timing Belt about 119,500. Replaced MAF Sensor about 120,000. I live in southern part of Shenandoah Valley in Virginia just off I-81. Nearest dealers in Roanoke or Staunton Virginia.
P1556 very interm.

Check your hose connections after the intercooler

I got the same code and it was a clamp that was positioned improperly on the bottom of the intercooler allowing air to leak out!

Look there it won't cost you anything!
