DPF Cleaner

I have a TDI Passat that has been stuck in limp mode for a while because of clogged DPF. A new dpf is covered under warranty and on order but unfortunately on global backorder. Originally it was estimated to arrive in September but has been pushed out a couple times. Current eta is middle of December.
I see online that there are dpf cleaners. Specifically one by Liqui Moly. Has anyone used these products with any success?
