Euro Headlight Switch?

Picked up a Euro Headlight Switch for cheap off eBay.
I've seen sites say that I need a trigger wire in order to allow the "parking light" position with out headlights.

Where does this wire go to and fro?

Car is an '11 Golf with factory Xenons. I installed aftermarket Euro LED tails also.

If your Euro Tails have a rear fog, you can also have that work with your switch.

As a side note, my 2014 JSW has the trigger wire for the parking lights preinstalled. My euro switch was PnP.

Si Senor. Its also a Wolfsburg Edition, so it likely has the highline CECM

OP, Any pictures or link to the European LED tails for the Wagon? I'd like some nice LED tails but can only find ones for Golf.

As far I know there are no LED tails made by Volkswagen or aftermarket similar to what was made for the Golf hatchback in Europe.

DeAutoKey offers very nice replacement LED bulbs, which is the route I would go.

ECS offers this replacement of the entire housing, but I do not like the look.

My 2012 also has the wire in pin 3 of the headlight switch already. I just need to add a wire to pin 5 for the fog lights when I install them.
