Excellent condition 2012 Volkswagen Jetta TDI. No issues other than minor cosmetic defects. This car was my vehicle to get me between college and home (highway miles). I intended it to last me for the next 5-10 years, but I now need something suitable for off-grid camping.
GOOD:
-Diesel engine idles smooth and accelerates strong.
-Currently averaging 39+ real MPG with up to 50 MPG highway and 35 MPG city.
-Vehicle has no rust.
-Interior is in great condition. Black leather seats still look like new.
-Strong A/C and heat.
-Heated front seats.
-Bluetooth and hands-free voice commands. Sirius FM capable (not currently activated).
-Roomy rear backseat. Folds flat for additional trunk storage on top of an already large trunk for a sedan.
-Second owner since 52,000 miles. The last 50,000 miles have practically all been highway.
-Maintenance done promptly by VW dealership with records on request.
-Brakes replaced 08/2017 @ 78000 miles.
-Tires replaced 01/2019. Plenty of tread left!
-Passed Texas inspection in November. Current registration through 10/2020. Clean title.
BAD:
-Small ding on driver’s side rear door from a car door opening into mine. 1.5” long, 0.5” wide. Didn’t peel paint.
-Rims scratched from brushing against curb.
-Trunk doesn't stay open without being held when rear is downhill.
