Have just purchased this vehical about 3 months ago! 53K and the dealer just replaced the timing belt! The problem is that she cranks sometimes just fine and then other times she cranks, fires and then shuts down. I removed and cleaned the shutter valve but was not able to remove or clean the throttle body. When she will not crank I have to find someone to crank the car while In push the shutter valve real quick a couple of times and she then cranks fine! What do I need to do next

I'd start by finding someone with a vag-com and check the injection timing. If the injection timing is ok, then I'd have the crank, cam, and pump alignment checked. Also follow the suggestions in the frequently asked questions section about difficult starts.
