I know I didn't HAVE to but did for the sake of getting a challenge met AND not wanting anyone to damage their ride. Me being somewhat of a smaller guy didn't considerI KNOW you're not talkin' 'bout me. I defended the bridge!
Nah, we're stuck with it now....you won and it's been the challenge too long at this point to pull it back.
When one wins, one gets to name the challenge. If it is too outlandish, "you" risk it going 72 hours. You may or may not want that, so consider that in your challenges. Rual817 didn't HAVE to omit the planking part in his last one, but chose to. It's okay to stick to your guns, or moderate under enough protests to keep peace and comraderary.

That's the one I thought about until I looked on the port's website:
"As of Monday, November 12, the Ship Channel Bridge located on Cherry Street will be closed to vehicle traffic to enable the Toronto Port Authority to carry out repairs on the bridge."

I never saw it either, but when I saw people talking about I was like "What movie is that? What are you talking about??" Then they would say it was BBM and I was like "THAT'S what its about????"I have never seen that movie! At least it isn't in my collection

Reading the challenge slowly it doesn't say the birdge has to be up. It just says a TDI waiting for the bridge to do it's thing. TDI is waiting, Bridge is waiting, all good, win for NewLyme.

Well, if you're waiting it implies that the bridge is in motion. You wouldn't be waiting if the bridge wasn't doing it's "thing" i.e. Opening/ closing.

I was just going up to see the bridge knowing it most likely would not be moving. I took the picture for fun. My interpretation of the challenge was the Bridge either going up or down. I'll leave it up to Forza91 if it is a win.I would say Newlyme is doing just what the challenge is asking for.

When there is a beautiful January day in the mid-50's around here, some men knock off and go fishing. I however, do stuff like this.
The Joe Page bridge in Hardin Il. built in 1931, refreshed in 2004. Joe Page was a civil war vet and mayor of Jerseyville Il.
I "waited" about an hour for it to do its thing.....but alas....
Well done Mr. NewLyme, good show old bean.
Anyway, here's a shot of the new billion-dollar suspension bridge under construction that is to carry 3 interstates across the Mississippi just north of downtown St. Louis:
