How to adjust IQ on STOCK engine:

Get car around 80 C leave it running and go to Engine address 01 ,then go to measuring block 01 and see your IQ(injection quantity).
If you have manual tranny need to be 2.8-3.2
if you have auto tranny need to be 4.0-4.4.

If you have less then this, then you need to adjust it. Stay in engine ,leave car running and . Go to login and put 12233, then enter.
Go to adaptation and put 01 . You will see STORE value and NEW value.
The number should be 32768.
If you decrease number IQ go up ,if you increase IQ go down. There is limit to do this. If you can't do it like this then do hammer mode first then fine tune like this.
Hammer mode:

All gone
Please post the value in measuring block 019.

The idle IQ will be different for oversize injectors (all else being equal), so you would have a baseline from the original adjustment when the nozzles were changed.

would i need to be in those spec's even if im running .216's (forgot to mention)
Set it around 5.0 and see if is smoking and how is driving.
When IQ has Bigger number ,engine is lean( means less fuel ,less smoke), Lower number, engine is richer (means more fuel, less smoke).
So you need to play with numbers till you find good number for you engine. All engines with oversize nozzles has different IQ.

I have sprint 520(0.205). I have mine at 5.4-5-6. But some people has same nozzles at 4.6 and running same as my car.

__. Chris, I agree that you have VCDS work to do but -- if you get to the end of VCDS settings and fault codes -- you may have to have your pump rebuilt like I did. There's a central high-pressure function in the pump and my pump had worn parts; once you hit this, there's no way to remedy things than an internal rebuild by a Bosch specialist.
