AHA! Thank you to david_594 for sending me the original PDF instructions (in German) While looking at this document, I noticed that the values in this post are transposed. (or at least they were for my car.)

For my control module (which has the same part number as ele28) the values were as follows (differences in bold)

OLD NEW
04283 138 2
04289 138 2
08628 242 246
12724 250 254
16820 242 246
20916 250 254

So right now, all of you are thinking: "moondawg, if you had done your due dilligence and written down your original values at those addresses, you would have noticed right away!"

To everyone thinking that: You're right.

But that's the kind of guy I am, I mess things up so you don't have to!

Thanks to Lito, Greg, David and Jason for helping me through this. If I ever have the chance, first round is on me.

Just don't tell me you're a Notre Dame fan, we're playing them this weekend!

Lito, we must have been posting at the same time. I also used HEX-COM. What did you have to change for the baud rate?

What do you gain with the Euro CCM?

Congrats on a successful mod!

Well, The namesake of my high-school did lay the cornerstone at ND.(and our mascot is a mirror-image of theirs)

My brother in law did attend there, and my sister at SMoND.

But no, I have no affinity for their sports!

Hutchman PM'ed me to ask if I got it working after all of that. I guess in all of the excitement, I kind of forgot myself!

It DOES work now, wondermously!

I have interior monitoring, and european door locks. That's why I needed the euro CCM.

I am NOT able to read anything from the 1C0 959 799C CCM in my wife's 2004. I will try again this weekend just incase I did something wrong.

Ok, here's an update for everyone

On my 2000 Bora
1. I used my Hex-Com cable and it works!!! :)

2. My windows now open and close with the FOB, alarm works no other problems.

3. My existing values were different but that's because I have a European CCM to begin with 1J0 959 799 AH

4.Thanks Jason for the baud rate tip!
Lito I have the same CCM as you European 1J0 959 799 AH, my case RHD, could you please tell me your existing values and the new values you used.

When I read my CCM :

Memory Address / my value
04283 / 10
04289 / 10
08628 / 250
12724 / 242
16820 / 242
20916 / 250

Many thanks

Has anyone been able to use an ISO-COM cable w/ VDS-Pro? I'm able to use my old version of vag-com to check codes via COM2, but VDS-Pro doesn't want to connect. I've tried running the software using command within WIN98 and then just DOS mode (trying all 4 com ports). Then I tried a DOS boot disk and that still didn't work. I'm going keep trying with the cable, but I'd like to know if anyone has had success in connecting via a ISO-COM...

I tried this on my Golf PD130 that was built in feb 2003. It has the 1C0 959 799 B but when i enter the 04361 address code it says error, wont accept so i gather its different, on the passat 2002 i just done also has the B module but the address 04361 worked perfect. Any ideas? Also anyone know the alarm memory address?

Did you go into the configuration menu in VDS-Pro and change the com port to com2? Sorry for asking such a basic question.

I'll Assume that you did. Did you also change the baud rate down to 9600?

Ray, my values were:

04283 / 72
04289 / 72
08628 / 250
12724 / 242
16820 / 250
20916 / 242

Not sure why the last 4 are ordered that way but it is what it is. Regardless, adding 4 to each number works.

So 250's change to 254, 242's change to 246. That's it.

Has anyone else had problems with their vag cables after doing this? My Uni-Com suddenly stopped working. The light comes on, but nobody's home...

Yeah, I sure did. I actually tried all the COM ports just in case. I set the baud rate to 9600 fixed. I would have thought the ISO-COM cable would have worked. I've tried to get it to work on two computers at this point... Could be user error, but I'm guessing it's something to do with the ISO-COM.

My understanding is the next round of KVW100's from China will work on the 1J0 959 799 X CCM's. So it will now do both CCM's.

OK, so lets figure some things out. Which VW/Audis come with this feature enabled from the factory?

I just coded a 2002 Jetta Wagon with a 1C0 959 799C CCM using the values listed in ELE28's post. Works Great!

So has anybody been able to code a US vehicle made after 2003? Seems like all this stuff is working for the older vehicles but not the newer ones...

On my 99.5, pinch protection is active when rolling the windows up with the remote. This normally wouldn't be a problem, except that when the body shop put my door back together they didn't get the window seal on right and it trips the pinch protection :/

Jason: Isn't there a way to reset the windows? I know that if you unplug your battery, you have to roll the windows all the way down, then all the way up to activate the one touch up/down. It has something to do with the pinch protection. And I don't remember where I found that info.

I have this in my notes. Do this without the remote, key only:

1. From outside car, lock doors

2. Unlock

3. Lock and hold for 1 - 2 seconds

I would assume with the windows up.

All you have to do is roll the windows up again, it disables the pinch protection the 2nd time. The procedure you posted resets the one touch auto up / auto down windows.
