- 2011 Golf 2 Door TDI (sold back for Dieselgate), 91 Golf 4 Door with 1Z swap
Looking for a TDI for my little sister. They are approved for a loan for 10k, but want to spend a bit less than that. Last car they bought, they ended up being upside down on an 05 gasser golf, and it got totaled and they walked away with nothing. I'm trying to avoid that by having her buy a TDI that will hold some value.
So, under 10k. She wants a Golf 4dr, but I'm trying to keep her mind open to a Passat or Jetta as well. She wants to learn stick, but is open to another automatic. Something clean that she can get lots of miles out of commuting from Atlantic City to Philadelphia, that's why I want her to get a TDI.
