I thought VW had 30 days after approval.

The 30 days was used to count the start of the 2.0 compensation clock which went to $hit due to system overload. We were 3 months out for our offer so it was pointless. The website was live well before the 30 days.

EDIT
Looks like per the settlement they have until June 2 to have the website running.

Do anyone think they will release that vin list now without the blackouts? And does anyone have a link to that list?

Will we get a notification email?
If you haven't already, make sure you are registered on vwcourtsettlement.com
I received an email notice when previously going through the process with my Passat.
I have registered my Touareg at vwcourtsettlement.com but can't yet login to the portal at claims.vwgoa.com... which is expected, for now.

The claims portal has gone live. It appears I don't have to share $ with former owner! :) :)

Specifically, click on whatever you called your car when you filed your 2-liter claim. It will give you a drop-down, and the last option there will be Add Another Vehicle.

hmm...I'm getting an error code saying that the vin is not within the scope. error code 8500. Strange as when I registered previously - it told me it was?!

I am happy that the portal opened today. Let's just hope that the document review doesn't get backlogged like it did with the 2.0 settlement. Fewer cars in this one, so fingers crossed.

I could only upload one side of my DR license. Supposed to be both sides.

Otherwise all done.

PS Seems all is figured out. Don't expect too much of delay starting July.

Interestingly, the amounts are slightly lower than what I calculating using September 2015 KBB. Weird.

The "vehicle value" for both of my Gen 1 cars is low by almost $1k.

Means a previous owner made a claim.

Wont the bosch money come in a seperate check? so do we get $1500 more on top of the amount offered?

Also went 3/4 on previous owners not signing up:D

First of all the restitution number I'm getting is about $4000 give or take so that obviously means the first owner has indeed submitted a claim. Now the question that I have is that does the VW checks when the vehicle was sold in order to complete the previous owner claim? In my case, I bought a vehicle in February and I know for sure that the first owner sold the vehicle to the dealer that I bought from in early February, i.e. after Jan 31, 2017. So technically the first owners claim should be either void or if it goes through would be fraudulent. What options do I have other than asking the dealer a copy of bill of sale/trade-in document which I don't think they will provide it to a regular Joe like me since it will have personal information of the prior owner.

PS: The vehicle I bought was Audi A6, one previous owner only and I'm the second owner,
