So the car had it's first out of warranty failure today, the left hand temp blend door motor has met it's maker, sticking the driver side vents on bake. The tech used a borescope to confirm the fault code, and apparently the motor has separated and jammed.
Curiously, the repair manual seems to have a clear factory bodge on reassembly, telling you to shorten one of the old screws and cut off one of the old motor's mounting lugs to use a spacer "to make it easier to install"
The motor is only 44$, labour 2 hours.
