good afternoon.
I collect the information for the installation of the gearbox Dq500(dsg7) 4x4 in the body of mk1 1.9tdi afn edc15.
abs mk20. haldex gene1 work on the factory scheme through the can.
is interested in how the dq500 works. Will it understand the signals from the EDC15 on the can bus and what other problems can there be in installing the dq500 paired with the edc15v and the teves mk20 abs

Thank you. in private messages asked.
according to the SSP vw scheme, abs is required with esp. I have a simple abs, without ESP

I doubt an EDC15 will be good enough for dq500... It doesn't have a torque based strutcture to allow torque requests from the gearbox etc.

Olso can is older ,so you will get no comunication between engine ecu and dq ecu.
Best you could try with edc16 ecu ,that will do

dq500 until the installation is debugged.
while we put the dq250 in another mono-drive golf 1.
it turns out that it is necessary to make a data converter on the bus - that would turn milligrams into a torque ... does anyone have any experience of manual correction of the firmware dsg? Is it possible to simply scroll the mechatronics to work without an engine - only in terms of the speed of rotation of the shafts? these projects are designed for drag . The main fast switching up and strong clutch pressure

Look like its none possible let it work without main data by canbus. So a german guys make a right choice to convert analog inputs by controller to can . And for sure they can map it when it need. (pressure,lauchcontrol..etc.) I make it with stock dsg contorlers few times and its realy have nm likes edc/med17,16

Nobody shifting gears on dsg yet???
p much cheaper to just build up a CR motor than get it working with your existing VP

or a PD, but they aren't near as available in the US as the CR and VP so why bother
