Chevron Diesel Fuels Technical Review Article

... I'm not even sure what I was Googling for when I discovered this paper, but this white paper, while admittedly "branded" since it is a Chevron publication, is a GREAT primer on how diesel fuel is manufactured, what makes it different than other fuels, etc. IMHO, this primer could probably answer a lot of questions from folks new to diesel ownership or thinking about switching from gassers to diesels.

... and, no, I have never worked for Chevron.

An oldie but a goodie. Came out in 2007. I agree that it should be a sticky so it doesn't get "lost" again.

As a brand new diesel guy this thread caught my eye. Unfortunately the link to the article no longer works.

I poked around both the linked site and the main chevron site but couldn't find any white papers.

Google is your friend:

This is a pdf and if it is wanted to be kept for posterity someone should download it and store it on the tdiclub server and link to it there. I will do it when I get home tonight unless someone else beats me to it.

So it's also too early for me to learn how to do what you suggest!
