Well after 2 year 10 months I've Returned to the TDI world. End of 2015 my 2015 Golf TDI was totalled see thread for pics (http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=454435)
I ended up buying a 2016 Rav4 Hybrid limited and it was good I enjoyed it, but i missed my diesel and rowing my own gears. So 2 weeks ago I bought a 2013 Golf Highline 78,000km with fixes complete, and boy it's fun. Now it is black so the paint needs some love.
I still have my VCDS so first thing was to go in a play with a host of settings
Seatbelt alarm - off
Horn on Lock - off
Signal to 5 Flashes
DRL to fogs and DRL control to MFD
Fog w/highbeam - on
FOB to Roll up and Down windows
Also got my Scan gauge installed so I can monitor regain temps and my Radar and dash cam hardwired so it looks clean as can be. Excuse my messy bench
I've already got a list of things I wanna do with this thing.
First is adding Nav and a backup camera and I'm leaning heavily toward a unit like this as I like how it keeps a factory style look https://www.ebay.com/itm/8-Android-...Golf-Caddy-Polo/362382843861?var=631572424214
And the rest of my list in no particular order
Have the paint polished and brought back up to new like standard
Hitch and wiring
18" Rims - maybe Red or Gold?
TDI Door sill plates - haven't found anything good yet
Front window tint - had it, needed to remove it to pass safety.

Any who, excited to be back hopefully my stay this time is longer then year I got with my 2015.
