Okay guys. Got Emissions Workshop code spit out on the 06 TDi. The issue came back as Code 05522 Height sensor / charge pressure sensor implausauble relation value or resistance too great.

Any thoughts? Should I just order and replace the charge pressure sensor? Cleared codes, and everything seems okay for now, but we are getting some wierd issues. At time after initial startup, the car simply has no power and no boost. Car goes, but simply doesn't have any power. You simply can shut car off, and restart and we are back to normal! Thoughts?

Classic signs of Limp Mode, where the ECU regulates engine output to safe levels in the case where the engine cannot properly control charge (turbo) pressure.

Sometimes it's as simple as one of the intake pipes having a loose clamp, but as always it can be a deeper issue than that. Do some searches on "Limp Mode" and you will find plenty of information to help you get started on a diagnosis.
