  • Hey man, I got a 1999 Jetta with a Alh engine that someone put a lift pump in the tank and has a knob inside the car to adjust pressure. I saw on this forum you also have a lift pump on your alh engine. Can you tell me what fuel pressure I should use before the injection pump?
    Thanks in advance

You probably want to be 8-10 psi. That's about stock for the BEW PD lift pump which is what we retrofit into the ALH's. I don't have a knob inside the car for that purpose, I'm just running stock lift pump. But depending on how big your injectors are and how much fuel and air you're pushing you could bump that up a bit. But stock pressure should work good in about 95% of the upgrades out there.

    Ok thanks,appreciate the advice.
Hey, sorry. I mentioned an extra armrest last weekend, but I forgot I had given it to my TDI mechanic when I gave him my manual leather seats when I got power/memory seat. Sorry about that.

Oh Ok. I'd offer this one but it probably only makes sense for pickup. Shipping something this size and shape gets expensive, and it has to be packed super safely as well because the ends snap off really easily (ECS had to send me a 2nd one for the same reason.)

I could always make a trip to Portland if I can't find one here in the graveyard.
I bought it because I thought someone might jump on it but I will absolutely send it to you if you want it since you found it. I've been searching for so long that I didn't want to have it bought at the last minute by someone else. That's probably a bit paranoid I will admit ;)

No worries that's why I pinged you!

I'm working on 3D printing a cover, we'll see if it works. A bit lower profile:

I couldn't tell at first because the image was so dark, but I downloaded it and cranked up the brightness and contrast, and I think you're right. I've been looking for that thing forever! I tried all kinds of different search parameters too. Are you going to buy it? I won't jump on it without asking first. Thanks. -Ben
